Description:   Figurine of draped, standing, female, comic actor. Figure stands with head slightly tilted to left. Bent left arm clutches himation close against body. Bent right arm, concealed under himation, extends outwards and pulls himation up to conceal lower half of face. Straight legs, feet shoulder width apart. Some hair from under himation, pulled over head, fairly level brows, thin nose, mouth concealed by himation. Distended belly and large oval vent hole in center of back. Wears long chiton under himation draped over top of head and pulled in front of face. Low, rectangular base, open at bottom. Hollow. Mouldmade with evidence of tooling on back. Similar to MF-14193 (Merker 2000, Corinth 18.4, cat. H361). Material:   Fine brownish yellow clay with very rare medium spherical sub-rounded brown inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 6/6 (brownish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Completely intact, somwhat worn, white accretion in crevices.
