Description: | Narrow, rectangular stele preserves relief decoration of oval head of snake crawling up front, stopping before the stele's plain end. On top is a Corinthian helmet, facing right, with part of long plume of indistinct outline, which goes all the way down to the lower break on the left. Helmet has a pointed dome and is sharply set off from the forehead area by plastic ridge, running from above the forehead diagonally down to the nape of the neck. At front, modeled eye opening and nose piece are represented. Back is flat. Moldmade, solid. | |
