Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Dancer has wide thick strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, small semi-circular face, broad short neck, flattened chest, upper body tilted backward slightly, flat clay strips pinched together between dancers as arms, cylindrical body tpinched in before flaring at feet. Fingerprints overall. Similar to MF-14358 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall.

Material:   Fine pink clay with few fine sparkling, few small tabular angular white inclusions and rare large tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (body joined from Lot 863 in 2007) preserving single dancer from head to feet, most of rt arm and part of lt arm. Slightly incrusted. Traces of white slip.
