Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of four dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Each figure has cylindrical body flaring as attaches to base. Additional clay wrapped around feet to strengthen join. Flat circular base with pared and roughly smoothed edge. Fingerprints over bottom of base. Possible cloth impression on base. Similar to MF-10708 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall.
Material:   Fine pink clay with reddish yellow core with frequent fine sparkling, few small to very large tabular angular white inclusions and few small tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink), Core: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining pieces (2 pieces of base with dancer stump joined from Lot 868 in 2007) preserving stumps of two dancers, depression for flutist, and three-quarters of base. Slighlty incrusted. Traces of white slip.
