Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of five to six dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Flutist has body, ovoid in section, flaring into pinched slightly splayed feet as attaches to base. Additional clay wrapped around feet to strengthen join. Flat circular base with pared and roughly smoothed edge. Fingerprints on base. Similar to MF-11489, MF-14358, and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with frequent fine sparkling, few small to large tabular angular white inclusions and few small to medium tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (base piece with flutist joined from Lot 863 in 2007) preserving stump of flutist, part of stump of dancer, depressions for three dancers, and half of base. Slightly incrusted. Traces of white slip.
