Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of four to five dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Each figure has a cylindrical body flaring at feet as attaches seamlessly to base. Flat circular base slightly concve beneath dancers with pared and smoothed edge. Fingerprints overall. Similar to MF-11489, MF-14358, and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Material:   Fine reddish yellow cla with few fine sparkling, rare large tabular angular tan, few small spherical angular red, few small to large tabular angular white inclusions and small to very large tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (1 piece of base with dance stump from Lot 863 joined in 2007) preserving stumps of two dancers, depression of flutist, and half of base.
