Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Dancer has thick strip of clay applied tightly around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, face twisted to lt, long neck tilted to rt and curving out into strips of clay as arms stretching toward neighboring dancer, chest flattened, upper body tilted backward slightly, and cylindrical body. Similar to MF-10883 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall.

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with pinkish gray core with few fine sparkling, few medium tabular angular white inclusions and rare small tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 7.5YR 6/2 (pinkish gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (head from Lot 863 joined in 2007) preserving dancer from head to feet and part of both arms. Part of face missing. Traces of white slip.
