Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Dancer has very wide strip of clay applied tightly around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, broad rectangular face, long neck curving into strips of clay as arms stretching toward neighboring dancer, and body ovoid in section. Extra clay smeared on polos. Very roughly made. Similar to MF-11494 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (head joined from Lot 863 in 2007) preserving dancer head to waist and part of rt arm. Chipped. Traces of white slip.
