Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Dancer has wide strip of clay applied tightly around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, broad semi-circular face, straight neck, flattened strips of clay as arms pinched together with arm of neighboring dancer, chest flattened, upper body tilted backward slightly, and body oval in section. Well preserved fingerprints overall. Similar to MF-11490 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with pink core with frequent fine sparkling, few medium to large spherical angular tan, few small tabular angular white inclusions and few small tabular angular and few medium platy angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 7.5YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (Arm joined from Lot 864 in 2007) preserving dancer from head to waist, part of rt arm and most of lt arm. Slightly incrusted. Traces of white slip.
