Description:   Moldmade terracotta figurine of female figure wearing crown or stephane. Large, prominent oval eyes; thin-lipped, straight mouth. Narrow, undecorated diadem or crown worn high on head; hair parted in center, surrounding upper part of face with formal waves. Roughly finished at back, by hand, with small projecting indicating low hair-knot. Head and heck solid, hollow below neck. May represent goddess (Hera?). Clay appears Argive, according to Corinth 12.

Material:   Coarse reddish yellow clay.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving head and neck of female figure. Traces of white slip. Cracked and crumbling at neck below chin.
