Description:   A sack-shaped pipe with smooth bottom, no keel, and plaint flaring stem-socket with a small opening, D. 0.009m. Rosette stamped on each side and on front of bowl. For shape, cf. Meerschaum pipes MF-2361, 2363. Clay and glaze may be related to that of pipe MF-2379. This pipe and another in Lot 78-287 appear to be an imitation in clay of a Meerschaum form.
Material:   White clay, pinkish bray to reddish gray slip.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/2, 5YR 5-6/2
Condition:   Missing parts. Rim broken away, front fire-blackened.
