Description:   Quadrilateral steelyard bar with weight scales on each side. Decorative knob at upper end and flat in section; below it, on opposite sides, two small bars extending out at right angles. Two holes at base of first small bar; one hole at base of second. Pronouced round flat foot at lower end. Very similar to MF-2862 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 1662); the indications of scale possibly follow same pattern.
Decoration:   Flat decorative knob at upper end of circular shape with three protrusions at end, outer two slightly flaring. On both sides, incised lines on knob and three on bar below knob.
Material:   Bronze.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete. Surface of bar corroded and with some reserves. Indications of scale not well preserved in all areas. Foot of bar fairly preserved.

Findspot Description:   Assigned to B101 because wooden tag depth was 12.80 and below (separate tag with objects says depth of 12.95 with list of objects: axe, knife, and steel yard bar) but date of excavation was 21 July 1993 so could come from lower, B112.
