Description:   Bronze unguent spoon with long, thin shaft, circular in section, tapering to a blunt point at one end. Shaft bent twice into slight S curve near point, perhaps intentionally for use of object. At other end, small, deeply concave bowl tipped at oblique angle to handle. Similar to MF 1972-1 in shape.
Decoration:   Incised groove wraps three times around shaft in spiral pattern beginning 0.016 m below bowl. Small incised horizontal line on back of shaft just below bowl.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete. Shaft bent, possibly intentionally for use of implement.
Dimensions Actual:   L. 0.112, Diam. of bowl 0.007
Period:   Late Roman (5th -6th c AD)
