Description:   Finger ring of which virtually nothing preserved except for gemstone. Stone oval in shape, flat on bottom and top with flaring sides. Bronze adhering to back, presumably part of setting, and piece of iron (?) hoop.
Decoration:   Engraved in stone: (reading from impression): draped woman standing in profile to lt., lt. leg bent, rt. carries weight, head bent slightly, holding cornucopia in lt. arm, with round object below it, and rudder down at side in rt. hand. Hair rolled up, bound by fillet, with something projecting from above forehead. Wears peplos with long diagonal overfold, clinging to bent lt. leg, possibly mantle hanging down back from shoulders.Stone polished. Fortuna/Tyche/Nemesis?
