Description: | Shallow bowl with echinoid profile, flat lip W00.009. A single rectangular lug handle projecting from upper body just below lip. A false spoutset 90 degrees from lug, consisting of a half-folded leaf with incised veins on upper surface, attached just below the lip, and supported beneath by a large pointed leaf, tip down, carved in relief from the body, with raised central rib. Interior and lip lightly polished, exterior left with flat chisel marks. For shape see MF-2001-023. | |
