Description:   Turkish pipe with vertical faceted rim set off from paneled bowl by relief cord; faceted shank flaring to simple termination with faceted edge; cf. Cat. C93 & C94 in Hesperia 54.2 (1985).
Decoration:   In rim facets palmettes topped by a floral stamp; paired crescents on cord at joint of rim and bowl; palmettes in angles between panels of bowl; meaningless imitation of Arabic seal on left side of bowl, again on lower left part of shank; cf. Cat. C93 & C94 in Hesperia 54.2 (1985).
Material:   Fine reddish brown clay with few fine sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 6/6; Slip: Between 7.5YR 7/6 and 10YR 7/6
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment preserving intact bowl, 50% of shank and termination; traces of burning on bowl and mostly on rim interior and exterior.
