Description:   Pin with shaft circular in section and head in the form of a female head; cf. Corinth XII, no. 2348.
Decoration:   Head of pin in the form of a female head with sharp angular facial features, pointed nose, lips, and chin, hair in a braid around the face behind the ears falling down in three separate parts on the back of the neck, right ear preserved faintly carved; braided circular wreath underneath the bust and separated from it by deep incision.
Material:   Bone or ivory.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserving half the shaft of pin and almost complete head of pin with hair of female head only partly missing.
