Description:   Conical loomweight with narrow flat base, high bevelling, convex sides tapering to a pointed top, single transverse suspension hole. Profile X.
Writing:   stamp. Gem impression below bevelling, Eros (?) standing to the right, head bent, arms next to body, bent at elbows and stretched forward, left leg weight bearing, right leg relaxed, long wings. As MF 4900 (Coirnth XII, p. 171, no. 1196, fig. 25).
Mythology:   Eros
Material:   Coarse pink clay with few medium to large rounded and angular red and black, rare medium rounded white lime, rare medium sparkling inclusions and rare medium rounded voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/4 (pink ).
Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment preserving almost the whole except for top and chips on body and bevelling.
