Description: | Glass production basin of terracotta floor. Green (untreated) clear glass on floor surface mostly smooth but with many lines and fractures. Glass penetrates the clay floor through few chips and veins beneath surface, ranging from less than 0.001 to 0.003 in thickness. Ceramic underside very rough. Similar to MF-14158 and MF-2000-17. | |
Material: | Hard-fired mud, tile or sherd, and glass. Clay has few dark brown large inclusions and abundant medium to very large spherical voids. | |
