Description:   Oval agate, black and brown with white veins.
Decoration:   Engraved image of Aphrodite Hoplismeni. Standing on plinth with weight on lt leg, rt leg bent with foot resting on an indistinct object. Lt arm extended across body to the rt, rt arm raised and extended to the rt, hands holding the top and bottom of a shield. Head turned to the rt and looking down at shield. Hair is pulled back away from face and possibly braided. She is mostly nude, large head, long neck, long torso, small breasts, and muscular arms and legs. Draped from the waist to the feet. Drapery falls in vertical folds between legs and diagonal folds over lt leg, rt leg is exposed. See S 2548, coin 2013-181, A-1990-8; also LIMC II.658.
