Description:   Gold-guilded silver and iron pin. Head made of silver, composed of five stacked disks. Top disk gold-guilded with flower design. Iron pin shaft rectangular in section near head turns to circular lower down toward the bottom. Cf. MF-1973-4 and Kilian-Dirlmeier 1984, cat. 4379, cat. 4017, cat. 4185, cat. 4324, cat. 3314, cat. 3370, cat. 3677.
Decoration:   Floral decoration on gold-guilded head, flower with 16 impressed petals with central protruding dot for stem. Vertical hatch marks on ridge around head. Possible incised band circling the vertical hatches.
Material:   Gold, Silver, Iron
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving head intact and part of shaft, broken at bottom. Silver corrosion on four (out of five) disks of head impossible to remove, hence different color between them and gold-guilded fifth.

Chronology:   Archaic based on parallels, all from sanctuaries.

Findspot Description:   Found in westernmost side of white unfired clay vessel in Floor 1203. Coordinates: E 275.81, N 1013.37, H 85.54. Found alongside bronze pin (MF-2013-19), bronze ring (MF-2012-21).
