Description:   Spindle whorl or button, biconical in shape, with round straight perforation.
Decoration:   On upper surface of body, incised triangles filled with net pattern alternate with motif of three oblique lines with dotted circles on either side, dotted circles at base of triangles; on lower bevelled surface, row of double incised zigzag line. On bottom, four pairs of dotted circles. Cf. Weinberg, Corinth 12, cat. 2613, MF-1969-336, MF-1974-4.
Material:   Purple steatite
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact with some chipping on sides, use-wear at top of perforation.
