Description: | Thimble, cone-shaped, tapering from bottom to top, with rounded, closed top. | |
Decoration: | Decoration rendered in copper alloy with higher tin content. From base, two horizontal incised lines, in between has short vertical incised lines placed close together. Above lines, register with circles, six-pointed stars inside circles each with dot at center, and hatched lines on edges of circles. Above register, same horizontal and vertical lines pattern as below; short vertical ines of both lower and upper decorations are carelessly executed, at times outside their horizontal boundary lines. The remainder covered with very regular pattern of pin pricks. | |

Condition: | Complete profile. Two frgts., joined together to preserve complete object except for 1/8 wall missing. Intact except for two slits at bottom. Overlay of copper alloy preserved around lower half and in patches at top. Bottom bent inward and outward. | |
