Description:   Small, round, bronze button with single hole and gold guilding, convex and hollow in profile.
Decoration:   Two punched circles on opposite sides of button hole. One half slightly raised with possible leaf pattern, leaves with inscribed lines; other half possibly a swirling floral motif.
Material:   Bronze, gold guilding.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Gold guilding fairly well preserved on top surface. Some corrosion on top surface.
Period:   Frankish (1210-1458 AD)
