Description:   Bronze finger ring with narrow hoop, convex in section, widening toward the bezel, where it becomes angular. Circular bezel, soldered on. Similar to MF-6890 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 1968) and MF-8182 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 1967).
Decoration:   Bezel with incised Greek cross with circles between the arms, arms in V-shaped lines, similar to Middle Byzantine cruciform monograms (on coins of Manuel I). Simple engraved border around bezel. Series of decorative ridges on the shoulders of the hoop.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Surface corroded.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
Chronology:   11th to 13th c. (based on Corinth 12 parallels)
