Description:   Small bronze buckle with front face rounded, reverse flat. Buckle consists of three hollow circles: medium, small, large. Medium circle likely or attachment to belt or garment. Small circle with iron tongue consisting of single piece, circular in section, loosely folded around small circle and likely attaching at underside of tongue. Large circle, flattened interior edge, with depression at upper end for tongue to rest upon. Somewhat similar to bronze buckles MF-4651 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 2226) and MF-5411 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 2225).
Material:   Bronze, iron.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving most of bronze buckle, broken at corner. Iron tongue broken off toward end of tongue.
