Description:   Implement made of a flattened sheet of bronze consisting of upper part of originally rectangular (?) blade or head attached to a long, decorated handle ending in a knob. Unknown function; perhaps a spatula or surgical implement. Cf. Corinth XII, p. 188, #1387-1389.
Decoration:   Cast handle with (bottom to top) section of two rectangles with two incised horizontal lines each surrounding a beveled diamond. Above this, length square in section, then another two beveled diamonds with one small rectangle on each end and a larger rectangule with two incised horizontal lines in between the diamonds. Ends in a short band, roughly oval in section with two incised horizontal lines around it, topped by a small knob.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment preserves handle and upper part of spatulate (?) head of implement. Rest of head broken off.
