Description:   Stamped conical loomweight, profile VIII.
Decoration:   The left arm is raised, the right bent before her, and apparently holding a vase. Two other loomweights with an identical stamp have been found, MF-6425 (H. 0.071) and MF-5575 (H. 0.07). In both cases the stamp is right side up just above the bevelling.
Writing:   stamp. Metal ring impression just above bevelling, upside down (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, pl. 75 and fig 25): Nike flying or walking to the left, looking backward. She has long wings and a garment reaching to the feet.
Condition:   Missing parts. Top broken off.
Period:   5th c. B.C.
