Decoration:   Impression: lion rearing in profile to right, small animal on back. Simple line border. Strong resemblances to Lyre Player group, seals made by 8th c. BCE Silician or N. Syrian workshop widely distributed across Mediterranean. Cf. Boardman and Buchner 1966, JDAI 81, figs. 15, 17, p. 11-12; E. Porada 1956, The Aegean and the Near East, figs. 51-52, p. 207.
Material:   Reddish brown serpentine (steatite?).
