Description:   Bronze object, most likely a small lamphanger or other suspension device, consisting of a hook-and-loop element made of a very thin bronze rod formed into a loop at the lower end. Attached to the loop, three stranded loops of thin bronze wire twisted into double spirals. Corresponds to Gill's Type C lamphanger (Sarachane I, p. 240, fig. G). Originally published as a pin (Corinth XII, p. 282, #2289).

Condition:   Missing parts. Four joining parts preserve most of hook-and-loop element with three attached stranded loops; upper end of hook-and-loop element and lower ends of stranded loops broken off.
