Description:   Bronze implement with decorated handle, circular in section, merged with flat, narrow, rectangular blade. Bottom of blade slightly split from side to side. Possibly for surgical or medical use. Similar to Corinth XII, p. 188, #1390.
Decoration:   Upper part of handle decorated with cast knobs in pattern (toward end of handle) of oval bead, reel, oval bead, reel, oval bead, knob.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment preserves handle, blade; part of split blade broken off. Lower part of shaft and blade slightly bent and corroded.
