Description:   Finger ring consisting of flat band for hoop, soldered onto thin flat disk bezel.
Decoration:   Incised on bezel: in center, Medusa-like head within a border of dots, and crude locks of hair extending outward in all directions; around edge a zigzag pattern between 2 rows of dots. Just above head, 6-armed cross. On hoop, inscription bordered by row of dots above and below.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on hoop in Greek: STERIKON PHYLAKTIRION (upsilon after first R; omega after K)
Material:   Silver Bronze.
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., complete.
