Description:   Terracotta handmade rectangular box made with slabs, sides not perfectly parallel and flare slightly outward, corners pinched, edges smoothed. Vertical exterior sides smooth but interior sides slightly rough. Finger marks on sides. Rough bottom. Similar to but much larger than MF-11288.
Material:   Fine white clay with frequent small to very large tabular rounded white lime, few platy rounded black and rare medium platy angular orange inclusions and common small tabular rounded and rare very large spherical rounded voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 10YR 8/2 (white)
Condition:   Missing parts. Five joining pieces intact except for half of one side. Large chips.

Chronology:   NPD stylistically, a coin of Ptolemy III suggests 247-222 B.C. in Well XVI and 167-146 B.C. by C46-55 SAH Knidian (Grace 1985 IV) but pottery dates to early Roman taq
