Description:   Terracotta mouldmade mask with hole for iris, ridged lower lid, hole with smooth edge for round mouth, smooth convex cheek, two spiral shaped curls on left side covering ear, and small flat space extending from curls to edge. Slightly concave back. Similar to MF-1981-6 but thinner than MF-6591 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat.. 439).
Decoration:   Face white-slipped, hair painted red.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with a pinkish gray core with rare small platy rounded black, few small tabular rounded white and common fine platy angular gold mica inclusions and rare very large tabular angular and few medium spherical rounded voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 7.5YR 6/2 (pinkish gray), Paint: 10R 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving part of hair and lt. cheek, broken across eye, along mouth to chin. Traces of white slip overall and orange paint.
