Description:   Upper part of head wearing a pilos. Smaller than life size and thus smaller than similar one in the Vatican (Vat. Cat. I, no. 420). Hair in thin locks curling horizontally across brow. Perhaps Odysseus? Probably Dioskouros cf. Beschi in Sculture greche e romane di Cirene.
Material:   Pentelic marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Preserved fom top of pilos to the eyes.
Period:   5th c. B.C.
Chronology:   Copy of fifth century original?
