Description:   Over life-sized figure of draped figure, who stands with weight on rt. leg, lt. bent and slightly advanced, shoulders tilted strongly to rt. and frontal but hips turned slightly to proper lt. Upper arms at sides, hand(s) possibly to front, judging by rect. attachment below breasts. Wears a chiton which is gathered in a deep overfold, visible on lt. side, and which falls to plinth in crinkly folds, clinging transparently to lt. leg. Over this is a mantle which hangs diagonally from lt. shoulder to below knees, with free end hanging from lt. shoulder to below breasts, which are relatively flat. Mantle belted below breasts; it is open on lt. side with selvage folded back to either side, revealing chiton. Figure wears either boots or sandals with liner; the tip of the lt. foot was added separately. Thin plinth follows outline of feet, worked with point on front face, tooling eradicated on top. Press folds on mantle; deep drill channels in drapery folds and undercutting drapery hem from plinth, made by horizontal drill. Rasp marks over all drapery surfaces.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble with vertical foliations.
Condition:   Missing parts. Complete figure from shoulders to plinth, missing head, lt. arm from just above elbow, rt. shoulder and arm.
