Description:   Large marble group of youthful Dionysos, nymph, and smaller Pan supporting Dionysos. Pan seems to be thrusting Dinoysos toward nymph; incline toward each other, perhaps embracing with arms (now missing). Lower part a block not cut out very deep. Dionysos' right leg thrust out in front of nymph's left.
Condition:   Head of Pan alone preserved. Nymph broken obliquely downward from side toward Dionysos through navel to her right hip.
Period:   Roman
Chronology:   probably Roman work
Findspot Description:   April 30, 1896. Trench VIII near well at upper end about 3m deep. J.p. 65
