Description: | Youthful male, with head turned to proper right in 3/4 view, and casting a downward glance. Hair radiates in flat strands from crown of head, bound with fillet. Bellow fillet, short wavy, more fully rounded locks of hair terminate in "hooks" with drilled centers and surround face. Locs preserved behind left ear and in drilled hooks, and are in three lengths, the longest coming to just above the base of the neck. Face youthful and beardless. Eyebrows articulated as a shar ridge, pupils undrilled; tear ducts indicated; line defining upper lid extends beyond lower lid and meets crease line of upper lid. Lips full and slightly parted. Shoulders and chest bare. Bust originally inserted into torso; point marks over surface of roughly pointed tenon. Rasp marks evident on flesh and hair. Some flat chisel marks on top of head and left ear. | |
