Description:   Large-scale statue wearing mantle, pulled out from left side in a thin flange of stone. Drapery modelled on both sides. On front face, lt. to rt., a row of catenaries, varying from nearly flat to low relief, pulling from upper rt. to lower lt., and straightening out from top to bottom fold; to rt. a flat mass of drapery, hanging vertically in a triangular tail, with broad drill channels breaking up the uneven surface. On back face, a single diagonal catenary in relatively high relief, with edge of second at upper break; surface hollowed beneath the first. To lt., a flat column of folds forming a zigzag hem, with broad channels separating individual folds, and deeper drill channel defining higher fold at break. Unclear whether piece stood out from left side or projected forward, parallel to lt. leg. Rasp marks on surface. Archaistic ?
Material:   Coarse-crystalled white marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving both faces, broken all edges; from left side of statue.
