Heel rests on wedge marble, surface roughly picked. Figure wears thin-soled boot through which toes modeled; raised bandmarks rounded edge of leathers over front of foot; above this, on tongue (?) 7-petal palmette in low relief, tip downward, with long spear-shaped central petal. Running up proper lt. side of leathers, square projections for lacings (?);on rt. side, a projecting mass, surface of which broken. Possibly rectangular plinth - lt. side straight, sloping from front to back. Fine claw onupper surface, on side flat chiseled band along upper edge, fine point below; on bottom, punch. Surface of foot smoothly finished with rasp markson rt. side.
