Description:   Large-scale knee, lt. ?, of figure possibly in motion. Knee is relatively small, and not sharply defined only set off from thigh by shallow concavity above and deeper concavity to side; calf extends well out to proper lt. of knee, its surface flattened, as if stretched in exertion out to side. Knee cap, and inside of knee carefully smoothed; possible rasp marks or abrasion on surface of calf.
Material:   Moderately fine white marble with crystals ca. 1 mm., vertical foliation.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken all around, preserving kneecap, and part of calf (?), from front half of leg; large chip in surface to rt. of knee.
