Description: | Left leg of a large statuette; wears a calf-length boot with rolled top, otherwise plain; foot flexed so that leg possibly rested on ball, underside concave and worked so that a thick wedge of stone lies under inside of foot and tapers to nothing under outside of foot. Proportions of leg slender though calf muscle pronounced. Surfaces finely smoothed; at present polish on front and outside of leg; boot articulated from leg by edge of flat chisel ? Joins S-1999-13. | |
