Description:   Small-scale marble head of undetermined sex (possibly female?) from a relief plaque. Face in three-quarters profile view, lower eyelid carved with low ridge which extends to straight, narrow nose; nostrils slightly recessed, delineated by incision; full mouth slightly downturned, corners drilled, upper lip fuller than bottom, projects forward; chin and cheeks soft and rounded.
Material:   Fine-grained white marble
Condition:   Fragment. Partially preserved head, broken along back, at lower right eyelid, across nose, along bottom of chin and right cheek.
