Description:   Lower part of standing draped male figure, slightly over life-size; weight on l. leg; r. leg bent and set to side, knee projecting forward. Wears toga draped in long diagonal folds from l. hip to r. lower leg; narrow vertical folds of licinia or tunic visible between feet; wears soft boots with straps crossing over insteps; piece of unworked stone remains beside and slightly behind l. foot as support, from hem of toga to top of plinth; plinth is rectangular, with proper r. edge very close to outer edge of r. foot; surface carefully smoothed; some rasp marks visible; drill work in some folds; claw chisel work on top of plinth and on support; point work on sides of plinth; finished in back, but flat.
Decoration:   Traces of red paint on drapery.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble
Condition:   Fragment. Fragment preserving lower part of figure, broken above knees; drapery battered and chipped; preserved surfaces in good condition; join: both feet, lower draped legs, plinth
