Description: | Draped archaistic female statuette. Right arm missing below elbow; dowel hole preserved. Left arm preserved to length of short sleeve, with iron dowel still in hole for arm. She wears a full-length chiton with short sleeves; heavy center fold between legs. Himation falls from right shoulder across back and forms inverted V in front over chiton. Swallowtail folds in front and back. Himation has wide band with diagonal grooves along upper edge. One lock of hair preserved on left shoulder; one piece representing several waves of hair falls onto back. | |
