Description:   Statuette of Armed Aphrodite type stands with weight on right leg, left foot resting on swan curled up on plinth with head turned up, left leg bent. Body turned somewhat to proper left, left arm raised and extended to side, right arm bent in front of torso, both presumably holding object. Nude to top of legs with narrow shoulders, small breasts, long torso, prominent buttocks. Himation wrapped around legs with bunched folds around top, and free end passing around from left side, to cross over top of left leg and hang down between legs to ca. calf height. Series of contour folds generated over right leg, over leg thigh several incised, two modelled on side of left lower leg. Flat fold stands out from left side as frame to lower torso, falls to hem. Folds modeled in back. Beside is tall pilaster with sketchily modeled mouldings: 2 fascias at base, half-round and fascia at top. Front part of flat top surface broken away, leaving slight lip from object (shield?) which rested on it. Stands on oval plinth with vertical face. Body polished. Dowel in neck break for attachment of head. Drill channels in front folds, back worked with point, left unsmoothed. Rasp on pilaster. Scratchy marks from flat chisel(?) on top of plinth. Coarse point on underside.

Condition:   Missing parts. Single frgt., complete except for head, neck, whole lt. arm, rt. forearm and hand.
