Description: | Head of girl, with hair arranged in flat, scalloped waves lying close to face, thick 4-strand braid surrounding head, criss-crossing in back and probably fastened there in knot. Head inclines slightly to lt. Broad forehead, smooth cheeks, round small chin; eyes large, wideset; drilled inner corners; inner sides of eyeballs incised; upper lid projects strongly over flat eyeball. Eyebrows lightly hatched. Mouth small, corners drilled, lips parted by drilled groove; small depression under lower lip. Flesh polished; claw chisel behind ears; top, back of hair roughly worked with flat. | |
