Description:   Over life-size leg of Silenos, wearing wooly garment with 8 rows of wavy locks of hair. L. each row top 00.06, bottom 00.055. The running drill separates rows and vertical sections of hair. This leg does not join foot S-3589.

Material:   White fine-crystalled micaceous marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Originally single frgt., broken all around, preserving four rows of hairy strands; added join (2001): two frgts. in all, leg from just below mantle to above ankle; broken behind.
