Large curly locks are combed forward from beneath cap, ending in spirals; row of large spiral curls in front above forehead, all done with flat chisel and no drill. The figure wears a soft leather cap (?) with tip folded forward but now broken away; cap and sides of folded tip worked continuously with flat chisel, while top worked with point. Treatment of hair differs from that of Captives, where hair parted in center and brushed to either side, and heavily drilled; cap tip also much larger. | | Material: | | Fine to medium-crystalled white marble, broken along a micaceous vein. | | Condition: | | Fragment.
