Description: | Standing draped femail, legs together, both arms at side grasping drapery. Head missing, part of neck preserved in front, part of right locks preserved falling onto shoulder. Wears short-sleeved peplos belted just below small breasts, kolpos at hip level falling to thighs on sides. Both hands grasp folds from the lower part of the peplos and hold them to either side, so that the outer edges fall in a continuous line from arms to base. Incised line runs horizontally across hem, with feet and folds of drapery to either side protruding from beneath it. In back, drapery and belt only very roughly indicated by means of shallow incisions and grooves. Stands on roughly rectangular base, slightly higher on proper right. Bottom of plinth lightly picked. | |
